hi minna!!! ^_^, the open beta test for UW Online have just started yesterday and sad news is I didn't played it yesterday!!! >_< I was out on my aunt's place and they haven't got any pc there.

Anyways, past is past and I managed to play it today. I got my nick again "Darkmeiser"! Hohoho! Glad no one took it. Alright, on this obt, im trying to make a walkthrough or guide or anything you can call it. So i think every other day Im gonna post every quest that i will have and share it here in my blog.

So let's begin it here.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

first choose which country would you like to be.

and then your character.

next is job selection.

then equip some items.

and the last is naming your character.

After you have done that all you will be told to talk to the Merchant Guild Master. (<

Guildmaster: Okay, let's talk about the life of a Voyager.
Here at the Merchant Guild, we mainlygive errands aimed at Merchants...but what good are sailors who don't know how to sail?
That's why we have the "Maritime Academy" to teach Voyagers the basics. And all the while, you gain "Experience", making these courses the smart thing to do. You should have a good deal of "Fame" by the time you graduate. Now go and try to make a name for yourself!

Note:
-you can take on quests by first talking to the instructor  at the academy or a mediator and then clicking on the "Take errand" button in the lower right.
-you can adjust your view by holding down the right mouse button and dragging it from left to right.
-you can also pan the camera vertically by dragging up and down.

Guild Master: Okay, I'll show you the Maritime Academy. You can pick up the basics and earn some experience there. It's where all serious Voyagers go. Learn all they have to offer and you'll gain the confidence to go out on the  high seas! You will then transfer to the Maritime Academy.

note:
-talk to the receptionist so you can enroll in the Maritime Academy

Receptionist: Welcome. We teach the skills needed for life at sea.
I recommend that all newcomers enroll. Would you like to try it gor yourself?

*****
How will you respond?
Yes or No, I shouldn't..
(i choose yes)
*****

Receptionist: Excellent. Which job would you like to learn?

*****
What do you want to do?
-Adventure
-Trade
-Maritime
-Nevermind
(i choose Trade)
*****

Receptionist: You'd like to learn about trade here, correct?

*****
How will you respond?
Yes or No, I shouldn't..
(i choose yes)
*****

Receptionist:  Please take your Student Uniform and Regulation Cap.
** You will obtain a Uniform and Regulation Cap

note:
-if you change your title under Character Information to Student, you will be able to equip the Uniform and Regulation Cap.

Receptionist: The Uniform and Regulation Cap I handed you can be worn by Academy Students. Study well, and soon you'll be a real sailor.
(after that dialogue your character will change its outfit)

Next, go to the Merchant Course Instructor and talk to him to start your 1st lesson.

First Quest Lesson.

After taking the first quest, go outside the school and talk to Instructor Alan, but before that the Receptionist will tell you something.

Receptionist: Oh, I almost forgot. Whenever you need to come into the school, just talk to the Doorkeeper standing outside. He'll let you in.

Now go outside to meet Instructor Alan.

Note:
-you can look at the details of your guild's errand assignment by clicking on the "Journal" button and selecting "Quest" from the menu.

-go talk to the "Port Official" or the "Port Guide" in order to go to another town.

-put your cursor over the map on the bottom right of your screen to see the facilities in each town.

-by clicking on [Enlarge Street Map] in the [Journal], a detailed map of that town will be displayed.
-the icons at the top of the map are assigned to each facility. by clicking on the facility icon, you will be automatically transported to that facility.

Instructor Alan: Welcome to the Maritime Academy, where you will learn how to become a fine sailor. Some of you may already know a thing or two about sailing, but let's all start with the basics together. A sailor's ship is his partner, so first, let's go to the shipyard to see how they are made.

Seeing as our lecture has just started, I will accompany you on your first trip to the shipyard. (then you will be teleported to the Shipyard with Instructor Alan)

Instructor Alan: This is where the ships you ride on are built. You will likely soon embark on a journey across these waters, and I'm about to teach you the basics of what you need to know when you do.

Before you depart make sure you check your "Food", "Water", and "Crew". You can load up "Food" and "Water" by using the "Provision" command. If you're only sailing around this area 10 days worth should be enough.

Also, don't forget to load yo "Timber" for repair and "Munitions" for your cannons in case of a pirate attack.
Two barrels of each should be plenty for a small vessel. I'll teach you more about Timber later on. You can gather up sailors for your crew at the Tavern or at the Port. Hire some if you feel like you need them.

Note:
-select the "Provisions" command at port to resupply Water, Food, Timber, and Munitions.
-select the "Employ Sailors" command at port or taverns to hire crew.

-when sailing, Provisions and Sailors are displayed as icons on the top left of your screen.

Instructor Alan: Do you have any question? If you'd like, I can explain provisions again.

Instructor Alan: Now, for the next subject...(interrupted by something)

Instructor Alan: You seem particularly preoccupied today. Did something happen?

Shipwright: Oh, hi, Instructor. Nah, but a wrecked ship just came in.

Sailor: We were done in by pirates. Swines! And we almost fought them off.

Instructor Alan: The young have so much energy. You'd do well not to lose your passion, either.

Instructor Alan: ......

Instructor Alan: Hm? Myself? Ha, I have enough passion for one man. And need it all to teach you kids! Now, for your next lesson. Just as people have stamina, ships have "Durability".

Note:
-the red bar displayed next to your ship's icon represents its Durability.
Instructor Alan: Just like that sailor said, if your ship is attacked by pirates, or runs aground in shallows, it will lose Durability.

Sailor: That's right! No matter how tired you become, you'd better keep the rudder steady. If you run aground, you could be in for a lot of trouble.

Instructor Alan: Don't worry -- Durability can be recovered. If a person gets injured, there are medicines to help him heal, right? Well, Timber is like medicine for ships. If your ship is carrying Timber, your crew will gradually repair it as part of their job. If you have the Repair skill, you can use those to repair more quickly. But doing so will consume both Timber and Vigour. Either way, Timber is crucial for any voyage.

Note:
-if you have Timber, your ship will automatically recover Durability as you sail.

-using the Repair skill will hasten the repair, but consumes both Timber and Vigour.
-carpentry tools may also be used, but again both Timber and Vigour will be expended.

Shipwright: Hey, Instructor, don't forget about us!

Instructor Alan:  I haven't forgot you. Shipwright like this gentleman here will completely repair your ship. Of course, they will charge based on the amount of repairs. A good ship relies on a good shipwright.

Note:
-talk to a shipwright in town, and select the "Repair" command to completely restore your ship's Durability.

Instructor Alan: Do you have any question? If you'd like, I can explain Durability again.

Instructor Alan: Good work. Let's take a break. I'll give you three sets of Carpentry tools. Don't hesitate to use them in times of danger.
(You will obtain Carpentry tools.)

Instructor Alan: Since he's right here, ask the shipwright for repairs. We'll continue your lesson after that.

Note:
-talk to the shipwright and he will ask you if you need repairs. Click repair.

Instructor Alan: Capital. It seems like you understand how repairs work. Now, for your next lesson.

Shipwright: You really got beaten that time. When things look hopeless, escape is always an option.

Sailor: We almost had them! Those pirates should have been trying to escape from us!

Shipwright: How many times do you need to get shipwrecked  before you'll learn.

Sailor: Urk! A-At least one more time, I guess, sir.

Instructor Alan: I'd better teach you about incapacitation and shipwrecking. If your ship's Durability or the remaining number of sailors reaches zero, your ship will be incapacitated -- unable to move.

The Rescue skill or Lifesavers can restore your mobility. In that case, you should restore its Durability using the Repair skill, or something similar.

Sailor: That's why you should always have Lifesavers on hand. Just in case, you know?

Instructor Alan: If you are unable to move to restore your ship from incapacitation, you will be shipwrecked and drift to the nearest town. But the consequences are great -- you will lose all of your cargo.

Sailor: But people look after the novice sailors. If an inexperienced sailor become incapacitated, a patrol should come to help.

Instructor Alan: But don't get overconfident. Until you are more experienced, avoid risky trips.

Sailor: (Why is he looking at me?)

Note:
-the Rescue skill and Lifesavers can be used to recover from incapacitation.
-if you do not have the Rescue skill or Lifesavers, you can drift to the nearest town by selecting the "Shipwreck" command.
-however, you will forfeit much of your current gold and cargo.
-if the sum of your Adventure, Trade, and Battle levels is 20 or below, a patrol ship will rescue you in case of incapacitation.

Instructor Alan: As I said before, if you lose all your sailors, your ship will be incapacitated. To sail your ship in safety and comfort, a certain number of sailors are required. Always have enough sailors to meet the "Required number of Sailors".

Sailor: Yes, right. Your ships can't move without sailors. And larger ships require even more sailors.

Note:
-each ship has a "Maximum number of Sailors" and a "Required number of Sailors". If your current number of sailors is less than the required number, your Sailing Speed will decrease.

Instructor Alan: Do you have any questions? If you'd like, I can explain incapacitation and shipwrecking again.

Instructor Alan: You're learning quickly.

Shipwright: Well, the best way is to stay safe and take good care of your ship and crew.

Instructor Alan: Indeed. I'll give you these, just in case. But be careful! Sailing a cargo of rum through dangerous waters will make for sunken spirits.

Sailor: (Umm... Was that a joke?)
(you will obtain a Lifesaver)

Instructor Alan: All right, your first lesson is complete. Report back to the academy.

Go back to the academy and talk to the school door keeper to get in.
