Uncharted Waters Online

It's finally here!

The official website for the much awaited mmorpg "Uncharted Waters Online" have finally come out. I guess it's been a month since I last visited Netmarble site and found the new online games they develop. It's my first time to saw an online game that has got to do with old ships and pirates. Shocked? Yup, that's the truth, most online games that I played was always on land like Cabal Online, Rose Online, Ran Online, etc. So I was kind of amuse and excited when I found this game. Maybe this will gonna be the 2nd CBT that I'm going to join, haha, I forgot the first game though.

Okay, if you're interested in playing this game here's the schedule:

CBT starting period: 
August 25, 2010 @ 3pm to September 6, 2010 @ 6pm [GMT +9]

Client Download:
August 20, 2010 @ 3pm [GMT +9]

CBT Requirements:

-System requirements specification:
Minimum system requirements

OS: Windows XP SP3 or above
CPU: Pentium 3 - 800mhz or above
Graphic: Direct X 9.0c or above (VRAM: 32mb or above)
RAM: 256mb or above
HDD: More than 8.7gb disk space
Sound: 16 bit stereo 44khz WAVE compatible sound card
Display: 800x600 or above, High Color Display
Network: 1 mbps or above

-Internet connection speed above 1 mbps
-No Beta Key is needed (However, there will be limited number of users to join the server at the same time)
-This service is not available to some territories like China, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea and Taiwan. Game download and game server connection will be blocked for users from those countries.

They also had an event where you can win a prize by suggesting a friend. Just check the official UWO website for the event info.

Is that the same as the game Uncharted:Drake's Fortune?

@Carmile: nope, this is different. Uncharted Waters Online is originally came from a video game in japan. Then KOEI developed it into a mmorpg.
