UWO download client here and some procedure

I saw lots of posts in the forums that they're having problem with the client. Okay, listen very carefully...you must first uninstall the old client of UWO or the cbt client before you install the new client which is the obt installer. The installer is 3.4gb in size so its a full patch of the game that's why you need to clear the old ones and make sure also that you met the requirement of the game.

Happy Columbus Day!!

Just another day have passed and im still a newbie to the game im playing...T__T

I didnt know it's Columbus Day tomorrow (OCt. 12) if not from the game Im playing, i wouldnt know it. Well, if you are familiar with Uncharted Waters Online, yup, that's the game im playing right now. Still it is, they are having an event in celebration with that. I remember this day when I was still playing Audition Dance Battle (NA server), they also have some kind of event for Columbus. :)

Just thought of sharing this coz i remember when I was in high school (i think), we're studying this in our history class. :)

The title of the event is...tada~
"FIND COLUMBUS' GOLDEN TREASURE"!!!

Its a special event of UWO, where you have to follow the famous explorer's sea route successfully then you will win a prize. Hmm, the event period is already starting, from Oct. 7-31, 2010.

Below is the outline of the discovery process.

1. Acquire a discovery quest or get a map from the library.

2. Go to the location marked on the map or quest, then use the skills listed below.

3. Use ‘Recognition’ for ancient ruins, ‘Search’ for treasure, and ‘Encological Study’ for creatures.

Discovering Ancient Ruins

1. Go to the location marked on the map or quest. Enemies on the ground will iniatiate an attack if your ship stays within range for a period of time. There is no regional information besides the secured area on land. Be prepared for the unexpected.

Adventure Type (Inter and Master jobs): Uncharted Waters Online

Until now, i'm still confuse on how to get this job after you got to choose your beginners job. Anyways, you might as well look the Intermediate and Master job first before choosing from the beginners.

INTERMEDIATE JOBS

1. Missionary

Missionaries are dedicated to uncovering religious relics and visiting churches and holy sites around the world. Must have extensive knowledge in theology, along with skills such as recognition and searching in order to find religious sites.

2. Historian

A historian discovers historic sites or relics and researches them. An avid scholar in archeology and theology he is the best of both excavator and missionary.
